Ore crushing is really a key process to handle the actual run-of-mine ore minerals like iron ore, gold, bauxite, copper, manganese, nickel, coal etc. at ore dressing plant. Generally, three phase crushing process will be adopted to cope with ores: coarse crushing, medium crushing and fine crushing. Two types ofjaw crushers are coarse and fine jaw crushers. Tertiary fine crushing machineis the key of the whole production line.

Through the coarse crushing through jaw crusher, the size of ore is under 1m in diameter, and after medium crushing, the crusher breaks down boulders into lumps about how big a footballand fine crushing, the size will be reduced to under 12mmwhich is ingrapefruit-sized lumps.

From there, it is sent to stockpiles. Waste rock from the my own, which is low in ore mineral content, is retained for use within rehabilitation. This forms a closed routine.

The crushing plant was commis- sioned in year 1997 parallel to a second DSMAC mobile stone crushing plant for overburden. The plants were designed to crush and transport 7300 tons per hour of overburden and 4900 tons of ore using truck-shuttle, DSMAC mobile crushing plant,belt conveyor system and spreader.

The DSMAC mobile crushing plants are located near the quarry face down in the mine to reduce operation costs by elimina- tion of truck haulage. One transport crawler type T 850 for relo- cation of the manganese ore crushing plant completed the DSMAC mobile crushing system.
